The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever, live from Laie, Hawaii, I present to you :

College Combat
 BYU Hawaii vs. BYU Provo
But first, a quick word from our sponsors: (which is me)

Random Observation of the Day: The clock on the right hand side of my blog page that once served as a countdown until the blessed day when I left for Hawaii has now become a record of how much time it has been since I have been here.  Kinda cool ay?

This episode of College Combat is brought to you by the letter A: A is for Anna Nicole Smith, who my English 315 teacher is always reminded of each time she seems my name on the roll, which results in my being known as Anna Nicole in that class.

And we're back!

"In this corner, weighing in at a colossal 35,000 students...Brigham Young University Provo!"

"In this corner, weighing in at a mere 2,500 students, give it up for...Brigham Young University Hawaii"

The tension is growing.  With two equally fierce competitors, of course the question on everyone's mind tonight is....who will win?
Round 1:
The match begins and Provo staggers backwards as Hawaii comes swinging with a fist full of paradisaical fury.  Slamming down on Provo with all the force of its beach, palm tree, and trade wind splendor Hawaii takes the lead in this round.  How will Provo respond to this attack of tropic thunder?
Round 2:
Having taken quite the beating in round one, BYU Provo steps back into the ring, head held high with all the pride of an entire stadium filled with BYU football fans.  In one swift movement, Hawaii takes a jab to the face, as Provo flies forward like a cougar, utilizing the full strength of its academic prowess of greater accreditation.  As Hawaii is picking up what is left of its scholarly merit, round two comes to a close at a tie, leaving fans wondering if this next round will offer a KO.
Final Round:
Both competitors hobble back onto the mat, having each sustained several blows at the hand of the other.  Hawaii dodges a roundhouse kick to the face, packed with the heat of hundreds of students per general education class from Provo, by sinking into the power stance of a smaller, more personal class which offers one-on-one student/professor opportunities.  BYUH smacks down Provo while its "cultural bubble" of a back is turned, with all the weight of a 43% international student body.  Provo quickly picks itself up and throws an enormous Cannon Center fueled punch at Hawaii, followed by a huge library and testing center kick.  After much back and forth action.....the match  ends....in a tie.
Yes, that's right folks.  A tie.  These two titans possess many refined skills and abilities which make them equal competitors.  Where one school falls short in beautiful climate and landscape, the other falls short in academic acclamation.  Where one might be valued for its large campus, classes, and student body, the other might also be valued for its opposite stature.  At the end of the day, both prove to be champions.
